Registering a wireless motion sensor

1. Place the wireless motion sensor near to the base station to register it
with the base station.
2. Open the Accessories/Wireless Sensors/Add a new menu on the base
station.
3. Select the zone (Normal sensor, Home sensor, Delay sensor or 24 Hour

sensor)
to which you want to allocate the wireless motion sensor.
4. Pls Connect appears on the display.
5. Now press the connection button on the rear of the wireless motion sen-
sor within 30 seconds or trigger the sensor (by moving in front of it) in
order to register the wireless motion sensor to the base station.
NOTICE!
You can find instructions for checking whether the registration has been
completed correctly under "Test mode" on page 94.
Testing the detection zone
1. Switch on the wireless motion sensor after it has been installed. Once a
self test lasting one minute has been completed, press the connection
button and walk into the detection zone to observe the display and thus
check the correct functionality of the motion sensor.
2. The display flashes once when movement is detected.
3. Adjust the detection angle to achieve the best detection performance.

Registering a door/window contact

1. Place the door/window contact near to the base station to register it to
the base station. Bring the sensor and the magnet together.
2. Open the Accessories/Wireless Sensors/Add a new menu on the base
station.
3. Select the zone (Normal sensor, Home sensor, Delay sensor or 24 Hour
sensor) to which you want to allocate the door/window contact.
4. Pls Connect appears on the display.
5. Now pull the sensor and magnet on the door/window contact apart with-
in 30 seconds and thus trigger the sensor in order to register the door/
window contacts to the base station.
