• Press the button for the remote radio switch to be deleted. It goes out. Now the remote radio
switch is deleted.
Activation/blocking a consumer
To activate or block a connected consumer, touch the built-in radio dimmer key once for a short
period. Alternatively, you can activate or block a connected consumer via a tuned-in remote
radio switch.
Dimmer function
Press the button of the wireless remote dimmer once to switch on the connected consumer
load. Press the button of the wireless mount dimmer again to start the dimmer function. Press
the button of the wireless mount dimmer a third time to end the dimmer function.
Maintenance and care
The product does not require any maintenance and should never be opened or disassembled
for any reason.
Before cleaning the product, disconnect the wireless inbuilt dimmer from the power supply.
Furthermore, disconnect any consumer load from the wireless inbuilt dimmer.
Only clean the product with a soft, clean, dry cloth. Never use aggressive cleaning agents or
chemical solutions since these might damage the surface of the casing or impair the operation.
Handling
• The wireless mount dimmer is only suitable for use in dry indoor locations.
• Avoid the following unfavourable environmental conditions at the installation loca-
tion and during transportation:
- Humidity and damp
- Direct sunlight
- Extreme cold or heat
- Dust or fl ammable gases, fumes or solvents
- Strong vibrations
- Strong magnetic fi elds such as those found in the vicinity of machinery or louds-
peakers
• Ensure that the insulation for the entire product is neither damaged nor destroyed.
Never disassemble the product! There are no serviceable parts inside.
• Check the product for damage before each use!
If you notice any damage, do not use the product any longer!
There is a risk of a life-threatening electric shock!
Safe operation must be presumed to be no longer possible:
- if the device is visibly damaged
- if the device no longer works
- if the device was stored under unfavourable conditions for a long period of time
- the device was exposed to extraordinary stress caused by transport.
Transmission range
The transmission range of the radio signals between the wireless wall switch and the wireless
inbuilt dimmer is up to 70 m under optimum conditions.
This value, however, is the so-called „open space range" (the range when
transmitter and receiver are visible to each other, without interfering infl uen-
ces).
In practical operation, however, there are walls, ceilings of rooms etc. between
the transmitter and the receiver, which reduce the range accordingly.
Due to the different infl uences on the radio transmission, no specifi c range
can be guaranteed.
Nevertheless, trouble-free operation in a single-family home is usually possible.
The range can sometimes be limited considerably by:
• walls, reinforced concrete ceilings
• coated/metallised insulated glass
• proximity to metal & conducting objects (e.g. radiators)
• proximity to human bodies
• Broadband interferences, e.g. in residential areas (DECT telephones, mobile phones, radio-
controlled headphones, radio-controlled speakers, radio-controlled weather stations, baby
phones etc.)
• Proximity to electric motors, transformers, power-supply units, computers
• The proximity to improperly shielded or uncovered operating computers or other electric ap-
pliances
Disposal
Dispose of the unserviceable product according to the relevant statutory regulations!
