Wireless Mount Dimmer RSLW2

Intended use
This wireless mount dimmer is intended for dimming or turning connected consumer loads on
or off, either manually via a push button on the device or via a suitable remote switch. (e.g.
wireless 1-channel wall switch).
The wireless mount dimmer is only intended for use in dry indoor locations.
Power is supplied to the wireless inbuilt dimmer via 230V/AC 50Hz.
An resistive load from 40 W up to a maximum of 300 W can be connected.
All the safety and operating instructions in this manual must be followed carefully. These in-
structions not only protect the device but, in particular, your health. Please read the entire
operating manual before using the product.

improper handling or non-compliance with the safety instructions. The war-

• The unauthorised conversion and/or modifi cation of the product is inadmissible
because of safety and approval reasons (CE).
• Do not use this product in hospitals or medical institutions. The product does only
emit relatively weak radio signals. These radio signals could, however, lead to
malfunctions in life-supporting systems. The same may possibly be the case in
other areas.
• The product is not a toy and must be kept out of the reach of children. Therefore,
be especially careful when children are around.
• Never expose the mount dimmer to extremely high or extremely low temperatures,
humidity or vibrations.
• Do not leave packing materials unattended. They may become dangerous
playthings for children.
• Handle the product with care, it can be damaged by impacts, blows, or accidental
drops, even from a low height.
Installation and connection
The wireless mount dimmer is only intended for use in dry indoor locations.
The wireless mount dimmer is suitable for example for fl ush-mounted sockets
Ø 68 mm (e.g. Conrad item no. 62 49 26 or item no. 61 21 32). Before the wire-
less mount dimmer can be installed, it must be connected.
Make sure that the connections for the wireless mount dimmer are voltage
free during installation.
All connection cables must neither be fl exed nor squashed. This can result in
malfunctions, short circuits and defects in the device.
Make sure that cables are not damaged when drilling or bolting into place.
Connection:
Power is supplied to the wireless mount dimmer via 230 V/AC, 50Hz. An resistive load from
40 W up to a maximum of 300 W can be connected.
Before connection and installation, make sure that the mains supply line is de-energised.

• Insert the wireless inbuilt dimmer into a suitable fl ush-mounted socket (e.g. fl ush-mounted
sockets Ø 68 mm Conrad Electronic order no. 62 49 26 or item no. 61 21 32).
Installation:
Proceed as follows, to ensure the correct installation:
• Use a fl at screw driver to remove the front
plate of the dimmer.
• Insert the dimmer into the fl ush-mounted
socket.
• Fasten the built-in radio dimmer in the fl ush-
mounted box as shown on the picture to
the right.
• Put the frame on the built-in radio dimmer
so that it clicks into place.
• Put the front panel onto the built-in radio
dimmer so that it clicks into place.
Programming the wireless inbuilt dimmer to recognise a wire-
less remote switch
• Connect the mains supply to the built-in radio dimmer. The LED of the built-in radio dimmer
will then light up. The LED is located under the front panel and in high brightness conditions
becomes more visible with front panel removed.
• Press the button on the wireless remote switch (e.g. wireless wall switch or remote control)
or the corresponding „ON" button e.g. on a wireless remote control, before the LED stops
blinking. The LED on the wireless mount dimmer goes out. The programming has been com-
pleted successfully.
Programming the wireless inbuilt dimmer to recognise multiple
wireless remote switches
• Press the button on the wireless mount dimmer, until the LED starts blinking red.
• Press the button on the wireless remote switch (e.g. wireless wall switch or remote control)
or the corresponding „ON" button e.g. on a wireless remote control, before the LED stops
blinking. The „Indicator" LED on the wireless mount dimmer goes out. The programming has
been completed successfully.
