10- INSTALLING THE BASE

In order to correctly install the base, pre-assemble it outside the
bathtub.
1. Join the long base "A" with a short base "B", (see Fig. 10) using
the M6x11 screws (in the bag of nuts and screws) to complete a
U shape. Place it under the bathtub in the correct position.
2. Join the last "A" section.

Avoid all contact with lacquers, nail-polish removers, organic
solvents, lighted cigarettes, etc.
Do not clean it with abrasive products and scourers or steam,
only with soap and water.
To prevent the formation of scale, fill the bath first with cold or
lukewarm water and dry it after each use.
The side legs are made of anodised aluminium and for correct
maintenance, the following recommendations should be ob-
served:
- Do not clean them with abrasive products or scourers, or de-
vices that produce steam; only use soap, water and a soft cloth.
- It is important to avoid scratching the legs with metal or sharp
objects.
IF YOU HAVE PURCHASED A LIGHTING KIT:
Considering the useful life of fluorescent lamps, it is recommended
to replace both fluorescent tubes whenever one of them fails,
since they both last approximately the same amount of time.
To replace a fluorescent tube, simply unclip the tube holder from
the flanges that attach it to the frame and, once removed from its
location, open the tube holder at the gland seal end, remove the
protective tube and replace the fluorescent tube.
After replacing it, repeat the same operation backwards.
