Telemetry control keys

The DCIR remote control is able to control up to 16 telemetry receivers (999 receivers if using an SM
series matrix with the Macro protocol on the video line). If there is no video matrix or a Linxs model matrix is
used, make sure dip-switch dip 2 on SW1 is switched to ON.
When the telemetry keys are pressed, the corresponding operations are carried out by the receiver identified
with the same number as the input displayed on the enabled channel.
Example:
• Pressing, in sequence, the keys Mon + 2 + ./.. + 1 + 1 + OK
the enabled channel (No.2) will switch to input 11 and only receiver No. 11 will carry out all
telemetry controls.
N.B. Once an output channel has been enabled, this will remain active until another is selected.
Example:
• Referring to the previous example, to activate the telemetry controls of receiver No. 5 on output
channel 2, just press key 5.

Lens control keys

Focus near, Focus far keys: activate the corresponding Focus operations
Zoom in, Zoom out keys: activate the corresponding Zoom operations

Movement keys

PAN & TILT keys: used for pan and tilt movements to the positions Up, Down (TILT) and Left, Right (PAN).
Diagonal movements cannot be made.
AUTO key: sets pan and tilt in continuous movement between the left-right direction limit switches and vice
versa (AUTOPAN)

Control keys for advanced and auxiliary functions (only for enabled receivers)

Preset key: used to store, in the receivers, up to 99 pan & tilt and motorised lens positions (the actual maximum
number of stored positions depends on the telemetry receiver used).
Patrol key: used to move the pan & tilt and the motorised lens automatically between the preset positions
OK key: used to confirm the data inserted when programming the Patrol function and during on screen menu
matrix programming.
Scan key: used to position pan & tilt and the lens on the preset positions.
Wip key: used to operate the wiper control. If pressed after the shift key (./..) it is used to switch on/off the
washer function:
Pressing ./.. and then Wip: will switch on/off the Washer function.
Aux1/2 keys: used to operate two auxiliary contacts (Aux1 and Aux2) on the telemetry receiver. When used
after the ./.. key, they allow the enabling or disabling of Aux3 and Aux4 keys in particular:
pressing ./.. and then Aux1 will activate/deactivate function Aux3
pressing ./.. and then Aux2 will activate/deactivate function Aux4
