Turn the steam output control dial into the required position:
position — the steam feature is disabled (dry ironing)
• Turn the dial to increase/reduce the steam output.
Plug in the appliance. The auto shut­off and heating indicators will light up. Once
the soleplate reaches the required temperature the heating indicator will go out,
informing that the iron is ready to use.
Dry ironing
Turn the steam output control dial into
hard-to-iron fabrics. You do not need to fill the tank with water for dry ironing.
Water spray feature
Ensure that water tank is filled with water. Press the water spray button
• slowly and smoothly for dense spray
• quickly for vaporized spray.
Steam ironing
Fill the water tank at least ¼ full. For more powerful steam output turn the tem­
perature control dial into •• or ••• position.
Iron releases steam through the holes in its soleplate. Use the steam output control
dial to adjust the steam output.
Constant steam is only generated when the iron is in horizontal position and set to
high temperature.
If the steam feature is enabled (the steam output control dial is not in
and the temperature setting is too low, water may drip from soleplate.

Vertical steam
Use vertical steam to steam hanging garments, curtains, drapes, etc. Turn the tem­
perature control dial and the steam output control dials to their maximum settings.
Hold the iron vertically a few centimeters away from the garment. Press the Steam
Shot button
in short intervals, moving the iron from top to bottom. Return to
horizontal position every fifth time you press the button.
If the heating indicator lights up, stop steaming and resume after indicator goes out.
Caution! Iron releases a powerful shot of hot steam. Never iron clothes on the body.
Never direct steam towards people or objects that can be damaged by hot steam!
Auto shut-off feature
The iron automatically shuts off when left unattended:
• after 30 seconds in horizontal position or on its side
• after 8 minutes in vertical position
The iron stops heating. 6 short audible signals are heard, auto shut­off indicator is
flashing.
Lift the iron by the handle to resume ironing. The auto shut­off indicator will stop
flashing, the heating indicator will light up. Once the soleplate reaches the required
temperature the heating indicator will go out, indicating that the iron is ready to use.
After each use
Turn the temperature control dial into "Min" position, the steam output control dial
into
position. Unplug the iron. Open the water tank cap and gently shake the
iron above the sink to empty the tank.
Place the iron into vertical position. Let the soleplate cool down at room temperature.
Wind the cord around the heel of the iron. Store vertically.
III. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Self-clean feature
1. To remove scale and other debris carry out the self­cleaning procedure 2­3 times
a month. The harder the water the more frequently the iron should be self­cleaned.
