7. Background lighting

The display's backlight comes on each time the but-
ton is pressed. The backlight's default setting is 10 sec-
onds. Y can switch off the backlight or extend it to up
to 60 seconds.
Please note that the backlight uses up ad-
ditional battery life.
 Press the Setup button for approx. 3 seconds until
CODE SET appears in the display.
 Press or  to access SYSTEM SET.
 Press O K to confirm. VOLUME SET will appear.
 Press  (three times) to select LIGHT SET (set-
up for the backlight) and confirm with O K .
 The current time setting flashes (default setting is
10 seconds). Press / to select the desired time
span in five-second intervals. Select "00" seconds to
switch off the backlight. Press O K to confirm.
 The confirmation message SUCCESS appears
and the display returns to CODE SETUP.
