Most snakes on the other hand have very poor colour vision. Snakes are
driven away by ground vibrations (rattling). The rattling indicates a natural
foe to the snakes.
2. Installation and maintenance
Dig the device into the ground up to ¾ of the Solar Vole Repeller. Your Solar
Vole Repeller is now ready for operation. Check the function of the device
regularly. In case it does not work normally any more, a replacement of the
rechargeable battery might be necessary (see point 3).
Installation suggestion (see drawing):
Place the repeller in such a position that animals will have the possibility to flee
from your land. After about 5-6 weeks the device/s should be moved
approximately 4-5 metres in the direction of the escape route.
3. Replacement of the rechargeable battery
1. Remove the battery casing cover.
2. Remove the old rechargeable battery from its fitting and insert a new
rechargeable battery size Mignon (AA) and type Ni-MH with 1.2 V and 800 mA.
When doing so, mind the correct polarity as shown on the bottom inside the
battery fitting.
3. Reattach the battery casing cover to the casing body.
IMPORTANT NOTICE: The battery integrated into the device has already
been charged, and the device is ready for use. Self-discharge of the battery
