General
These installation instructions have been written by the manufacturer for
authorised skilled personnel or tradesmen from a hereby nominated inspection
or testing entity as well as for trained and instructed personnel. They should put
them in a position whereby they can safely install and operate the device.
They will also provide them with information about how important components
function.
Information!
The installation and operation of locking systems for fire protection connections
are subject to building approval regulations; compliance with them on the part
of not only the installer but also on the part of the operator must therefore be
ensured.
Safety instructions
Danger!
The grid-side (230 V) connection of the devices may only be executed by a quali-
fied, specialist electrician.
Caution!
The valid VDE (German Electrician´s Association) regulations as well as the provi-
sions of the local EVU´s (Energy Supply Company) must be adhered to when ins-
talling the devices. Furthermore, the safety regulations for working on electrical
plants or systems must be taken into account.
