Installation
Due to the large optical aperture angle and the
automatic calibration feature, there is no alignment
needed as long as the edges are within the aperture
angle.
5.1. Installation of light curtain
For your own safety, switch main power off and mark clearly that the elevator or object is out of service.

Installation and operation manual
Ensure that the edges are mounted and operating
static and do not move during operation.
Ensure both cables, emitter and receiver, exit in the
same direction
Do not bend the cables or expose them to tension
Ensure cables are kept as far as possible away
from AC mains or high voltages
Do not force, stretch or squeeze the cables
Ensure that the cable is well fastened and routed
Avoid soiling of opto edges
Avoid obstruction from door wings, cables etc. in
the protective area
The emitter and receiver elements should face
each other.
Do not bend or twist the edges!
Oil can damage the cable. Contamination must
therefore be avoided at all times!
Avoid external light from other infrared light sources
like photo eyes or light barriers!
Avoid interference from other infrared sources such

as single opto elements, low energy bulbs, direct
sun light etc.
