CHARGING THE INBUILT RECHARGEABLE BATTERY
-
The inbuilt rechargeable battery is charged using the solar cell on the front of
the device.
-
The solar cell can also charge the battery in artifi cial lighting, but the effi ciency
is not as high as with direct sunlight. The charging time shortens when charging
via sunlight, but direct radiation with sunlight can lead to incorrect measure-
ment data.
-
When the battery is fully recharged it can be used for about one month without
solar energy.
-
When the display contrast fades or the screen display disappears, place the
device in a brightly-lit place, so the battery can recharge.
SETUP/WALL MOUNTING
The thermometer/hygrometer can stand up or be hung on the wall.
Setup:
-
Fold out the support on the back of the device and place the device on an even,
fl at and stable surface.
-
Protect valuable furniture surfaces by using a suitable underlay; otherwise, it
may cause scratch marks.
Wall mounting:
-
Fold in the support on the back of the device and hang the device up on a nail or
screw.
-
There is an eyelet for hanging up on the back of the device.
OPERATION
The sensors for the thermometer and the hygrometer are located inside the
housing and thus display the values for the interior of the housing.
Therefore, to obtain more accurate measured values do not hold the device
in your hand or stand/hang it near a heat source, instead stand/hang it in an
open area.
The measurement display needs about 15 to 30 minutes to stabilise and
show accurate values.
-
Use the ON/OFF switch below the mounting foot on the back to turn the device
on and off.
