element will stop working, and ten seconds later the fan will shut off.
This will be signaled by 20 beeps. At any time during the dehydrating
cycle, you can shut off the appliance by pressing the ON/OFF button.

Let the food cool completely before storing.
TRAYS
Your dehydrator's trays, mesh inserts, drip pan and cover are easy
to clean. Simply soak in warm water with a mild detergent for several
minutes. A soft- bristle brush will loosen food particles that resist
softening by soaking. Don't clean any parts with scouring pads, abrasive
cleaners, or sharp utensils, as they tend to damage the surface.
The trays, mesh inserts, drip pan and cover can be washed in the
dishwasher.
CAUTION: Place trays, mesh inserts, drip tray and cover on the top
rack of your dishwasher, remove before drying cycle or use a no-
heat drying setting on the dishwasher. Failure to follow any of the
recommendations may cause warping which will result in an improperly
operating dehydrator.
HOUSING
The dehydrator's housing contains all the moving and mechanical parts
and electrical components, so use care when cleaning. Make sure that
the unit is unplugged from the outlet before cleaning. Clean the base
with a damp cloth. Take special care around the fan openings in the
back and on the top not to allow liquid to enter. Do not use any type of
cleaning chemical on the dehydrator housing.
CAUTION: Do not cover the vents on the top or back of the dehydrator
at any time to reduce the risk of personal injury and/or damage to the
dehydrator.
