Depending on the type of treatment that
needs to be performed, it is possible to choose
3 options from the "light" list:
• By choosing the AUTO option, the LED light
on the front terminal of the handpiece is
EN
switched on by pressing the foot pedal, and
automatically switches off 3 seconds after
the pedal is released;
• By choosing the ON option, the LED light on
the front terminal of the handpiece stays on
permanently, regardless of whether pressure
is applied on the foot pedal or not. The
light switches off 100 seconds after the last
pressure of the foot pedal and the option
shifts from ON to AUTO. The ON option
cannot be selected until the moment one of
the two handpieces is lifted;
• By choosing the OFF option, the LED light on
the front terminal of the handpiece stays off
permanently.
The position of the LED light on the front
terminal of the handpiece can be adjusted in
the following way:
• Hold the body of the handpiece and lightly
unscrew the metal ring nut located at
the base of the front terminal, rotating it
counter-clockwise;
• Rotate the front terminal so that the LED
light goes into the desired and necessary
position;
• To fasten it into position, screw the metal
ring nut, rotating it clockwise.
FUNCTIONS
Depending on the type of treatment it is
possible to choose one of the 3 options
available from the "function" list, as follows:
ENDO: dedicated to endodontic treatments as
cleaning of root canals and retro
PERIO/SCALER: dedicated to the supra- and
sub-gingival prophylaxis procedures and to
root planing.
RESTORATIVE: dedicated to restoration,
prosthesis and extraction techniques.
NOTA BENE by selecting RESTORATIVE and
power on 6 the PULSE mode is activated. It is
used to optimize the inserts' performance in
the extraction and prosthesis techniques.
