2 Safety instructions
Any hazards associated with handling the rechargeable battery
only come into effect after it has been set up. They are therefore
listed in  Chapter 6.2, „Removing the rechargeable battery"
and  Chapter 6.3, „Disposing of the window vacuum cleaner,
rechargeable battery and charger".
2.5 Information on window cleaning agents and the
spray jet
Never direct the spray jet at the inside of ovens or at objects
which contain electrical components, e.g. sockets.
Always direct the spray jet at the surface being cleaned. Nev-
er direct the steam jet at other people. Never look directly into
the spray nozzle.
Keep the window cleaning agent out of the reach of children.
If swallowed there is a risk of poisoning!
The cleaning agent used has to be explicitly suited for use in
a window vacuum cleaner. Never use cleaners which contain al-
cohol, solvents (thinners, benzene, acetone), strong acids or al-
kalis or any other aggressive cleaning agents including waxes,
polishes or scouring agents.
Adhere to the instructions for batching and application on the
packaging of the window cleaning agent.

2.6 If the appliance is defective

Hand over a defective appliance to a specialist dealer or send
it to the Dirt Devil customer service department for repairs,
 Page 101, „International Service".
Never use or charge a defective appliance! If the window vac-
uum cleaner, the charger or its charger cord are damaged, they
must be replaced by the manufacturer, the manufacturer's cus-
tomer service or a similarly qualified person, in order to prevent
hazards.
