Board description
The ZM2 command board is fully de-
signed and manufactured by CAME
CANCELLI AUTOMATICI S.p.A., and
meets the current UNI8612 standards.
It is suitable for controlling 230V single
phase automated units with power up
to 600W, 50-60Hz frequency, in par-
ticular for the ATI, FERNI, FROG, C, H,
BX and BY series ratio motors (except
for BXE, BY1500) for residential and
industrial gates (swing, sliding, fold-
out, sectional, etc.).
It should be mounted inside ABS
cases (S4339 or S4340) with IP54 pro-
tection, equippped with intake for air
recycling and related transformer.
Powered with 230V across terminals
L1 and L2 and is input protected by
two 5A line fuses, while the low voltage
(24V) command devices are protected
by a 3.15A fuse.
The total power of the accessories
(24V) must not exceed 20W.
Safety
Photocells can be connected to obtain:
- Re-opening during the closing cycle,
the photocells on detecting an obstacle
while closing the door, cause the
movement direction to be reversed
until opening is complete (2-C1);
- Re-closing during the opening cycle,
the photocells on detecting an obstacle
while opening the door, cause the
movement direction to be reversed
until closing is complete, device
connected to the terminals 2-CX, dip

No. 8 and dip No. 2 (two-way function
selector) positioned in OFF;
- Partial stop, the gate is stoped if
moving thus preparing for automatic
closing, safety device connected to the
terminals 2-CX, dip No. 8 to OFF and
dip No. 2 (two-way function selector)
positioned in ON;
- Total stop (1-2), shutdown of gate
movement without automatic closing; a
pushbutton or radio remote control
must be actuated to resume
movement).
NB: If an NC safety contact (2-C1, 2-
CX, 1-2) is opened, the LED (n°12) will
flash to indicate this fact.
- Safety test function. The control unit
will now check the safety system every
time an opening or closing command is
given (see p. 18-19).
Accessories which can be
connected to this unit
- "Gate open" signal ligh t (10-5);
- Cycle lamp. The lamp which lights the
manoeuvring zone: it remains lit from
the moment the doors begin to open
until they are completely closed
(including the time required for the
automatic closure). In case automatic
closure is not enabled, the lamp
remains lit only during movement (E-
E3);
- Electric lock (11-S);

- Automatic closing. The automatic
closing timer is automatically activated
