1 Important
The SideStream Plus is a handheld nebulizer designed to aerosolize medication
approved for nebulization.
• Aerosol output rate (ml/min) is dependent on patient inhalation flow.
• SideStream Plus has been designed to deliver general purpose inhaled aerosol
medications solutions and suspensions. SideStream Plus is designed to be used
with a standard flow compressor (3.5–8 L/min).
• Not suitable for use in ventilator circuits.
• It is recommended that you replace your SideStream Plus every six months.
• Use mask designed for SideStream Plus.
• Please keep these instructions.
Warning
• Clogged jets or improper assembly may prevent proper delivery of medication.
Caution
• To reduce the risk of infection, clean and disinfect the nebulizer between
treatments.
• Never use a cleaning brush or put sharp objects into the jet holes as this
will damage the nebulizer.
• Do not try to remove the jet as this is permanently attached.
• Only use prescribed medication with SideStream Plus.
• Children and infirm individuals should be supervised during use.
• Do not use the device if damaged.
2 Getting ready
Please read these instructions carefully before using this product. This
product should only be used under the supervision of a physician or licensed
healthcare professional.
• Wash your hands before using the nebulizer.
