Not every problem is the result of a defect in the telephone. Sometimes a
little nudge in the right direction helps to get your telephone working again.
Try out one of our tips with help from the operating instructions!
Problem
No dial tone when
you lift the handset.
You do not receive
calls.
Parallel ringer does
not ring.
Second telephone on
an automatic pole
changing switch
(AWADo) no longer
functions properly.
Telephone
networks:
Problems connecting
when dialing from
memory, e.g. speed
dial.
R key does not work. Flash is incorrectly set.
Possible Cause
Telephone cable or
handset cable is not
properly connected.
Handset was not
properly replaced.
Ringer is set too low.
Parallel ringer can only
be operated with a new
change--over switch.
Telephone can only be
operated with new sup-
plementary devices.
ELC/LDC not entered.
Remedy
Correctly connect telephone
cable and handset cable.
Correctly replace the handset.
Increase the ringer volume.
Connect telephone and parallel
ringer via T2 or T4 change--
over switch.
Replace AWADo with T2 or T4
change--over switch.
Enter ELC/LDC and set pause
length if necessary.
Change the Refer--back key
function.
