Switch display date on/off
Prerequisite: The device is in standby mode.
1. Press or
ð The display shows the „Set Time" setting.
2. Turn until the display shows the „Display
Date" setting.
3. Press .
ð You are now in the „Display Date" setting.
4. To activate the date display: Turn
display reads „On" .
To deactivate the date display: Turn
the display reads „Off" .
5. Press to confirm your selection.
ð The date display is activated/deactivated.
Time format
Prerequisite: The device is on.
1. Press or
ð The display shows the „Bass" setting.
2. Turn until the display shows „Settings" .
3. Press .
ð You are now in the „Settings" menu. The
display shows the „Time Format" setting.
4. Press again.
5. Turn to select the time format you want to
use. You can choose from the following formats:
n 12‐hour format
n 24‐hour format

In 12‐hour format, the time display is fol‐
lowed by either „AM" (for the 1st half of the
day) or „PM" (for the 2nd half of the day).
6. Press to confirm your selection.
ð The time format is set.

Format" setting.
5. Press again.
ð You are now in the „Date Format" setting.
6. Turn to select the date format you want to
use.
You can choose from the following formats:
n Weekday, day, month, year.
n Weekday, month, day, year
n Weekday, month (in words), day, year
7. Press to confirm your selection.
ð The date format is set.
Setting the automatic time/date update function
Switching on the automatic time/date update func-
tion automatically synchronizes the time and date in
the FM radio and DAB radio operating modes.
Prerequisite: The device is on.

ð The display shows the „Bass" setting.
2. Turn until the display shows „Settings" .
3. Press .
ð You are now in the „Settings" menu. The
display shows the „Time Format" setting.
