Unplug.

Remove quiet shield from
blender jar assembly.

Metal parts under blending jar get
hot after use. Do not touch.

w WARNING Burn Hazard:
When blending hot liquids, do
not use quiet shield and remove
filler-cap of two-piece lid. To
prevent possible burns: Do
not exceed the 2-cup (473-ml)
level. Hot liquids may push off
two-piece lid during blending;
therefore, with the protection
of an oven mitt or thick towel,
place one hand on top of the lid,
keep exposed skin away from
the lid, and start blending at
lowest speed.

Remove lid.

Blender will automatically stop
at the end of the program. To
stop the blender at any time
during the program, press
START/STOP. If reactivated by
pressing START/STOP again,
the program will start at the
beginning.
