3. DESCRIPTION OF THE MACHINE

3.1 Main ingredients

On the picture hereunder the most important main ingredients of the support S-1802/S-1803 are
indicated. The support S-1802/S-1803 is set up:

1. Base plate

2. Lever
3. Support
4. Column
5. Grip
3.2 Function
3.2.1 General
The support S-1802/S-1803 is used for drilling with diamond core drills. These drills are suitable for
drilling in concrete, asphalt and brick material. The function of the support is to guide the drilling
machine during the job. The maximum drilling diameter is Ø 150 mm. When using a water collecting
ring the maximum drilling diameter is Ø 130 mm.
3.2.2 Support
The support takes care of stable move and
gives a good conduction during a vertical move.
The column is executed with an adjustable guide (7),
slide blocks (6) and a water level (9).
Operating wheels can be placed on both sides and can
also be used to turn the bolts of the base plate.
The damping sleeve Ø 60 mm (10) can be used to lock
the drilling machine.
By using the handgrip, the support can easily be moved.
3.2.3 Base plate
The plate is used as stability and to set the column,
which can be adjusted to the wall or by using a quick-acting
screw M12. A vacuum block can be used to assemble
the base plate. The vacuum block cut off the groove
where the quick-acting screw M12 goes trough.
The set bolts (11)in the plate can be used to fasten the
plate on the wall or floor. For a level setting on the floor,
there is a level adjusted on the support and for setting
on the wall a water level.
The support can easily be fixed between floor and
ceiling by using a quick-acting clamp.
3.2.4. Alignment
To have the right position of the drill in relation to the drilling hole there is a centring point (12) which
can be right fastened by using the wing nut. (13) This simplifies the assembling of the support without
setting the machine with drill on the support.
