shall under no circumstances give rise to any compensation;
• water pressure greater than 7 bars;
• various damages caused by shocks or falls during handling after delivery ex factory;
• in particular, water damage that could have been avoided by immediate repair of the water heater. The
guarantee shall apply only to the water heater and its components to the exclusion of all or part of the
electrical or hydraulic installation of the device.
• Electric power supply with sizeable voltage overloads.
An installation not compliant with the regulations, national standards in force and the rules of the trade, and in
particular:
• Absence of or incorrect installation of the safety assembly;
• Installation of a safety assembly not compliant with the national regulations in force, and use of a used
safety assembly on a newly installed water heater.
• Change of the settings of the safety assembly after violation of the lead work.
• Abnormal corrosion due to incorrect water supply connection (direct contact between iron and copper).
• Defective electrical connection non-compliant with the national installation standards in force, incorrect
earthing, insufficient wire section, non compliance with the connection diagrams, etc.
• Switching on the device without filling it first (hot heating).
Insufficient maintenance :
• Abnormal scaling of the heating elements and safety parts.
• Non-maintenance of the safety assembly, leading to overpressure (see notice).
• Cover subjected to external stress.
• Modification of the original equipment, without consulting the manufacturer, or use of spare parts not
referenced by the latter.
• Non maintenance of the device and in particular non replacement of the anode in good time (see § VI).
• Use of a Pro Tech device with the red lamp on or the green lamp off.
Recommendations
For regions where the water is very hard, using a water softener does not entail a derogation from our
guarantee, provided said softener is set according to the rules of the trade, verified and maintained regularly.
In particular: the residual hardness cannot be less than 12°F.
