OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

WARNING:
Read the regulations and safety notices before char-
ging the battery.
WARNUNG:
Wear safety goggles when using compressed air to
clean the tool. Wear a breathing mask when carrying
out work that causes dust.
WARNING:
Don not use the tool if any parts are missing or
damaged.

Remove the battery block when the electric power
tool is not is use, prior to maintenance work and
when changing tools such as a lathe point.

ADDITIONAL SAFETY NOTICES

· When using the tool, basic safety precautions
in order to avoid the risk or fire or electric shock
and injuries to persons.
· Always wear protective goggles with
side plates. Normal glasses do not constitute
protective goggles.
Following the rules lowers the risk of
eye injuries.
· Cordless power tools do not have a plug that can
be connected to the mains which means they are
always ready for operation. Take note of the
potential hazards emanating from the tool even
if you are not using it or its accessories. Following
the rules lowers the risk of fire, electric shocks and
injuries to persons.
· Before using the electric power tool again the
protective devices must be checked for proper and
correct functioning. Damaged protective devices
and parts must be repaired or replaced by an
authorised specialist workshop.
· Have your device repaired exclusively by qualified
specialists using OEM spare parts only. This ensures
that there is no detriment to the safety of the
device.
· Keep the handles dry, clean and free of oil and
rease. Clean the tool as necessary using a clean
cloth. Water, solvents and polishing agents may not
be used. Following the rules reduces the risk of
causing plastic materials to melt.
· Use only the accessories or auxiliary devices listed
in the instructions for use.
Follow the instructions in the "Maintenance"
section of the instruction manual. Using other in
sertion tools may cause a risk of your personal
injury.
· Do not charge the cordless tool when it is damp
or wet. Following the rules lowers the risk of
electric shock.
· Use the charger exclusively in a dry environment at
a temperature between 10° C and 38° C. Do not
keep the tool and charger outside or in a vehicle.
· If the tool is misused, fluid may escape from the
battery block. If the battery fluid comes in cont
act with the skin, rinse immediately with copious
amounts of water. If the solution comes in contact
with the eyes, rinse for at least 10 minutes in
running water and then consult a doctor.
Information on noise reduction
A certain level of noise emission from this device is
unavoidable. Schedule noisy work for times inten-
ded for such work and when they are permitted.
Observe any customary quiet periods and keep the
duration of your work to the absolute minimum.
For your personal protection and the protection of
people in the vicinity, suitable hearing protection
must be worn.
Safety notices for charger
a) Observe the data provided on the type plate of
the charger. Only connect the charger to the mains
current stated on the type plate.
b) Protect the charger and the lead from damage
and sharp edges. Damaged cables must be replaced
immediately by a qualified electrician.
c) Keep the charger away from children.
d) Do not use any damaged chargers.
e) Do not use the charger supplied with the device
to charge other cordless devices. WARNING: Do not
attempt to charge non-rechargeable batteries.
