5 Inbetriebnahme
A
Den Stecker des Netzkabels (11) in eine Steckdose
(230 V~/50 Hz) stecken. Damit ist das Gerät einge-

schaltet. Der Schwenkkopf fährt in eine definierte
Ausgangsstellung. Das Display (1) zeigt während-
dessen
. Danach ist das Gerät betriebsbereit
und lässt sich über ein DMX-Lichtsteuergerät bedie-
nen (
Kap. 7) oder durchläuft eigenständig sein
Showprogramm (
Kap. 6). Zum Ausschalten den
Netzstecker aus der Steckdose ziehen.
Um einen besseren Bedienkomfort zu erhalten,
ist es empfehlenswert, das Gerät an eine Steckdose
anzuschließen, die sich über einen Lichtschalter ein-
und ausschalten lässt.
5.1 Grundeinstellungen
Mithilfe des Displays (1) und der Bedientasten (4)
lassen sich die folgenden Grundeinstellungen
durchführen. Dazu die Taste MENU so oft drücken,
bis die gewünschte Funktion im Display angezeigt
wird. Dann die Taste ENTER drücken. Mit dem Drü-
cken der nächsten Taste nie länger als 8 Sekunden
warten, sonst wird der Einstellvorgang beendet. Die
Menüstruktur ist in der Abbildung 2 auf der Seite 3
dargestellt.
Blackout-Modus ein oder aus
Mit der Taste DOWN oder UP wählen:
Die Laserstrahlen sind immer eingeschaltet.
Diese Einstellung muss beim Betrieb ohne
DMX-Steuergerät gewählt werden.
Die Laserstrahlen sind nur eingeschaltet,
wenn ein DMX-Steuersignal an der Buchse
DMX INPUT (12) anliegt. Sobald das DMX-
Steuergerät ausgeschaltet wird, schalten
sich die Laserstrahlen ab.
Zum Speichern die Taste ENTER drücken.

The unit must have a minimum distance of 50 cm
to adjoining surfaces and the air vents at the
housing must not be covered in any case.
3. If the laser is installed at a place where people
may stand or sit under, it must additionally be
secured (e. g. by a safety rope; fix the safety
rope so that the maximum falling distance of the
unit does not exceed 20 cm).
Place the laser on a solid and even surface. It can
also be mounted upside down to a cross arm. For
this purpose tightly screw the supplied support to the
base plate. Tightly screw the support together with
the unit to the cross arm.
5 Setting into Operation
Connect the plug of the mains cable (11) to a mains
jack (230 V~/50 Hz). Thus, the unit is switched on.
The pan head goes to a defined starting position.
The display (1) meanwhile indicates
unit is ready for operation and can be operated via a
DMX light controller (
chapter 7) or automatically
runs through its show programme (
switch off, disconnect the mains plug from the
socket.
For a more convenient operation it is recom-
mended to connect the unit to a socket which can be
switched on and off via a light switch.
5.1 Basic settings
Via the display (1) and the operating buttons (4) the
following basic settings can be made. Press the but-
ton MENU so many times until the desired function
is shown on the display. Then press the button
ENTER. Never wait for more than 8 seconds before
pressing the next button, otherwise the adjusting
procedure will be stopped. The menu structure is
shown in fig. 2 on page 3.

Drehrichtung normal
oder entgegengesetzt
Beim Betrieb mit zwei TWIST-110RG kann sich bei
einem Gerät der Dreharm in eine Richtung herum-
drehen, während beim zweiten Gerät der Dreharm
sich genau entgegengesetzt dreht.
Mit der Taste DOWN oder UP wählen:
Drehrichtung normal
Drehrichtung entgegengesetzt (invers)
Zum Speichern die Taste ENTER drücken.
Schwenkrichtung normal
oder entgegengesetzt
Beim Betrieb mit zwei TWIST-110RG kann sich bei
einem Gerät der Schwenkkopf in eine Richtung
bewegen und beim zweiten Gerät genau entgegen-
gesetzt.
Mit der Taste DOWN oder UP wählen:
Schwenkrichtung normal
Schwenkrichtung entgegengesetzt (invers)
Zum Speichern die Taste ENTER drücken.
Display ein oder aus
Mit der Taste DOWN oder UP wählen:
Das Display (1) ist immer eingeschaltet.
Das Display schaltet sich ca. 60 s nach dem
letzten Drücken einer Taste aus. Beim nächs-
ten Tastendruck schaltet es sich wieder ein.
Zum Speichern die Taste ENTER drücken.
Text im Display um 180° gedreht
Mit der Taste ENTER wählen und gleichzeitig spei-
chern:

Acht Sekunden nach dem letzten Drücken einer
Taste wird das Einstellmenü automatisch verlassen.

The laser beams are only switched on when
a DMX control signal is present at the jack
DMX INPUT (12). As soon as the DMX con-
troller is switched off, the laser beams will be
extinguished.

Pan direction normal or opposite
For operation with two TWIST-110RG units, the
rotary arm of one unit may rotate in one direction
while the rotary arm of the second unit rotates pre-
cisely in the opposite direction.
Select with the button DOWN or UP:

6 Betrieb ohne DMX-Steuergerät
Liegt kein DMX-Steuersignal an der Buchse DMX
INPUT (12) an, leuchtet die gelbe Kontroll-LED
MASTER (3). Das Display (1) zeigt
zwischen 1 und 4 (Show 1 – 4) an. Das Lasergerät
durchläuft eigenständig sein Showprogramm. (Vor -
aussetzung dafür ist, dass der Blackout-Modus aus-
geschaltet ist,
Kap. 5.1.)
6.1 Musiksteuerung ein- oder ausschalten
Bei der Musiksteuerung können die Bewegungen
des Schwenkkopfs und das Wechseln der Farben
durch die Musik, die über das Mikrofon (15) aufge-
nommen wird, synchronisiert werden.
1) Die Taste MENU (4) so oft drücken, bis im Display
(Sound) erscheint. Mit dem Drücken der
nächsten Taste nie länger als 8 Sekunden warten,
sonst wird der Einstellvorgang beendet.
2) Die Taste ENTER drücken. Das Display blinkt.
3) Mit der Taste DOWN oder UP die Musiksteue-
rung einschalten (
) oder aus (
4) Zum Speichern die Taste ENTER drücken. Das Dis-
play zeigt für einige Sekunden
wieder die Nummer des eingestellten Showpro-
gramms angezeigt und der Programmablauf startet.
Zur Musiksteuerung den Regler SENSITIVITY (16)
für die Mikrofonempfindlichkeit so einstellen, dass
die Dynamik der Musik optimal durch die Bewegun-
gen des Schwenkkopfs sowie durch den Wechsel
der Laserstrahlfarben wiedergegeben wird. Bei einer
Farb- oder Bewegungsänderung durch ein Musiksig-
nal leuchtet kurz die grüne LED SOUND (5) auf.
Hinweise
1. Beim Ändern der Lautstärke an der Musikanlage
muss auch die Mikrofonempfindlichkeit mit dem Dreh-
regler entsprechend angepasst werden.
2. Bei zu geringer Lautstärke, oder wenn der Regler
SENSITIVITY ganz nach links gedreht ist, wechselt
das Gerät die Laserstrahlfarbe selbsttätig und bewegt
den Schwenkkopf selbsttätig.

6 Operation without DMX controller
If no DMX control signal is present at the jack DMX
INPUT (12), the yellow indicating LED MASTER (3)
lights up, the display (1) indicates
between 1 and 4 (Show 1 – 4). The laser automati-
cally runs through its show programme (provided that
the blackout mode is switched off,

In case of music control, the pan head motion and
the change of the colours by the music picked up via
the microphone (15) may be synchronized.
1) Press the button MENU (4) so many times until the
