STRUCTURE AND FUNCTION

The direct action proportional valve can be used as an
actuator for process control, and is suitable for technical
vacuum. Low hysteresis, high reproducibility and good
response sensitivity ensure good adjustment characteris-
tics. Thanks to an elastomer seat seal, the valve is tightly
sealed (except for steam designs, etc.). Control is via the
separately available control electronics Type 1094 or Type
8605, which convert an analogue input signal into a PWM-
signal 1) .

Other functions of controllers Type 1094 and Type 8605
• Compensation for magnetic coil heating through internal
current control
• Easy adaptation of the minimum and maximum current
(start of opening and fully open) to the actual pressure
conditions
• ramp function for dampinging sudden changes in the input
signal,
• Type 1094: Monitor function with LED display as adjustment
aid or for external display (the monitor signal is proportional
to the coil current).
