SPECIAL SAFETY RULES

Hold power tool by insulated gripping surfaces
only, when performing an operation where the
cutting accessory may contact hidden wiring or its
own cord. Cutting accessory contacting a "live" wire
may make exposed metal parts of the power tool "live"
and could give the operator an electric shock.
Protect your lungs. Wear a face or dust mask if the
operation is dusty.
Always wear safety goggles and a dust mask when
sanding, especially sanding overhead.
A suitable breathing respirator must be worn while
sanding lead paint, some woods and metal to avoid
breathing the harmful/toxic dust or air.
When not in use, all tools should be disconnected from
power source.
Do not touch moving parts.

INTENDED USE

plunge-cutting and sawing wooden, dry wall, and plastic
materials and non-ferrous metals
dry sanding hard-to-reach areas, edges, and corners

scraping small areas
The product is not intended to be used on wet materials
and surfaces. For use on dry materials only.
MAINTENANCE
WARNING
The product should never be connected to a power
supply when assembling parts, making adjustments,
cleaning, performing maintenance, or when the product
is not in use. Disconnecting the product will prevent
accidental starting that could cause serious injury.
WARNING
When servicing, use only identical Ryobi replacement
parts. Use of any other parts may create a hazard or
cause product damage.
If the power supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced
only by the manufacturer or by an authorized service center
to avoid risk. Contact authorized service center.
WARNING
For greater safety and reliability, all repairs should be
performed by an Authorised Ryobi Service Centre.
GENERAL
Avoid using solvents when cleaning plastic parts. Most
plastics are susceptible to various types of commercial
solvents and may be damaged by their use. Use clean
cloths to remove dirt, carbon dust, etc.
WARNING
