The Keypad

SET The SET key is used to set up
this remote.
(Power) The POWER key
operates the same function as on
your original remote control.
Backlit Device Keys The TV,
DVD/VCR, CBL/SAT (DTC), AUDIO,
and AUX keys select the home
entertainment device to control. For
example, pressing the TV key allows
the remote to control the functions
of your television, while pressing
DVD/VCR lets you operate your VCR
or DVD player. During operation
of this remote, the red indicator
light underneath a device key light
up every time a key is pressed to
indicate the device mode you're in.
Number Keys The number keys
work just like those on your original
remote, for channel selection or
number entry. In AUX mode the
number keys may provide source
(input) selection.
Note: If your original remote has a
+10 key, you can access this function
using the INPUT key. If your original
remote has a +20 key, this function
can also be found under the — key.
INPUT Depending on which device
you're controlling, this key can
perform the same function as the
INPUT, TV/VCR, TV/DVD, or TV/SAT
key on your original remote.
— (Delimiter) Key Allows direct
access to digital TV subchannels.
For example, to tune to channel 20.1,
press the 2 and 0 number keys, then
the delimiter key (—), and finally the
1 number key. If your original remote
uses one/two digit input switching,
you can access this function by
pressing the — key.
LAST In TV, CBL/SAT (DTC), or
VCR mode, the LAST key tunes to
the previous channel.
