6. Locate the top standoffs (three for single-sided fireplaces
and six for see-through fireplaces). Bend mounting feet and
attach to the top of the fireplace with two #10-32x1/2 hex
screws each.
The standoffs may be installed in one of three positions to
accommodate installing the wall board over the front of the
fireplace (clean face) or flush with the fireplace with 1/2 in. or
5/8 in. thick wall board.
See Figure 16.
7. Secure the top of the standoffs to the header.

8. To connect the gas line and install the electrical connection,
the burner assembly must be tilted upward in the fireplace.
To lift the burner assembly, remove the control door by open-
ing the door and lifting it upward to disengage the slots on
the door from the pivot pins.. Remove the two control door
pivot bolts and washers. See Figure 17.
9. Remove two screws from front corners of the control panel
with a Phillips head screw driver. See Figure 18.
