• Switch off the device
• Remove the drain plug from the drain outlet
• Store the plug safely
• Place the drain hose over the drain outlet
• Make sure the drain hose is not kinked and clear of any obstructions
• Place the drain hose in a bucket or drain and make sure the water can flow out
• Do not submerge the hose end into water, otherwise it can cause an "Air lock" in the drain
hose

Remove the rubber sealing plug
(Inner diameter=11mm)
To avoid water spilling;
As the negative pressure of the condensate drain pan is large, tilt the drain hose
downwards towards the floor at approximately 20 degrees.
Straighten the drain hose to avoid a trap from being created in the hose.

4) CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Warning
Before cleaning the device, always switch it OFF, disconnect it from the mains electricity
supply.
Cleaning the air filters
It is recommended to clean the air filter every 2 weeks when using the device.
Dust collets on the filters and restricts the airflow and reduces the efficiency and could even
cause damage to the device. The device has 4 air filters; 2 on the rear, and two on the side.
The air filter requires regular cleaning and is removable for easy cleaning.
Warning! Do not operate the device without air filters in place! It might contaminate
the evaporator.
REAR FILTERS
• Remove the plug from the power socket.
• Pull out the back panel (A1) & (A2) from the device.
• The back panel must be removed to gain access to the filter.

• Remove the filter mesh from the back panel (A1).
• The lower back panel (A2) has a fixed filter mesh and cannot
be removed from the back panel.
• Use a clean rag to absorb the surface dust on the filter mash. If
the filter is extremely dirty, use tap water to rinse the filter. Fully
dry the filter mesh before placing it back in the device.
