Don't manually rotate the rotisserie.

2. Use the rotisserie motor switch to jog the rotis-
serie so that a sample tube faces the front of the
unit.
3. Pull the sample tube straight out of the rotis-
serie.
4. Again use the rotisserie motor switch to jog the
rotisserie so that a sample tube faces the front
of the unit then remove the tube from the rotis-
serie.
5. Repeat jogging the rotisserie and removing
tubes until all of the sample tubes are removed.
6. Set the power switch off.
7. Clean the unit in preparation for the next use.

Using the Rocker

As an alternative to rotisseries, a rocker is available for
agitating samples. The rocker is an option on the medi-
um unit and it replaces the normal rotisserie.

Installing the Rocker

Follow this procedure to install the rocker:
1. Set power switch off and open the incubator
door.
2. Remove the rotisserie from the incubator: Push
the rotisserie to the left, lift the right side out of
the socket, then move the rotisserie slightly to
the right and lift it out of the incubator.
3. Place the rocker in the incubator and secure it
to the back of the incubator with the two existing
screws from the back panel, as shown in Figure
7.
4. Remove the right side pivot ring from inside the
incubator: Turn the ring a fraction of a turn
counterclockwise, then pull the ring away from
the side of the incubator.
