Use the rotisserie speed knob to
change the jog speed.
Don't manually rotate the rotisserie.
Use the jog position of the rotisserie
motor switch.
For best operation, tubes should be
loaded symmetrically to balance the
rotisserie.

Installing the Rotisserie into the Incubator

Follow this procedure to install a carousel into the incuba-
tor.
1. Set the power switch off and open the incubator
door.
2. Place the rotisserie into the incubator with the
smooth shaft end on the left, gear on the right.
3. Line up the left side of the shaft with the pivot
point, then push the rotisserie to the left against
the spring, as shown in Figure 3.
4. Line up the right side of the shaft with the gear
drive socket, as shown in Figure 4. Release the
rotisserie and allow the shaft to be pushed into
the socket.

Loading the Rotisserie

With the empty rotisserie in the incubator load the sample
tubes as follows:
1. Set the power switch on, set the rotisserie motor
switch off, and open the incubator door.
2. Place a sample tube against the rotisserie clips
facing the front of the unit. If you need to posi-
tion the rotisserie, press the rotisserie motor
switch to the jog position.
3. Center the sample tube from left to right, then
press the tube into the clips until the tube snaps
in place.
4. Use the rotisserie motor switch to jog the rotis-
serie so that an empty position faces the front of
the unit.
5. Install another sample tube the same way.
Center the tube from left to right, then press the
tube into the clips until the tube snaps in place.
6. Repeat jogging the rotisserie and inserting tubes
until all of the sample tubes are installed.
