Setting the Temperature

1. Press and release either of the arrow keys to
display the set temperature for two seconds.
2. With the set temperature displayed, to increase
the set temperature, press and hold the up
arrow for at least two seconds. To decrease the
set temperature, press the down arrow.
Temperature can be set between 0.0 and
85.0°C.
3. Release the arrow keys when the temperature is
set as desired. After ten seconds, the display
shows the actual temperature. To return to the
actual temperature immediately, press the menu
key.

Setting the Keypad Protection

When keypad protection is on, the arrow keys are dis-
abled and the set temperature cannot be changed. This
is useful when setting up a processing program where the
unit will be unattended. Follow this procedure to set key-
pad protection on or off:
1. Press the menu key twice so the display shows
Pro (protection).
• If keypad protection is on, display shows on.
• If keypad protection is off, display shows oFF.
2. To set keypad protection on or off, press either
the up or down arrow key.
• Display shows the new status of keypad pro-
tection.
• After ten seconds, the display returns to the
actual temperature.
• To return to the actual temperature
immediately, press the menu key.
