LCD Handheld Thermometer DT-300
Item-No. 10 08 27

Intended Use

The thermometer is intended for temperature measurements, using a high-grade steel pene-
tration probe, in the range -50 to +300°C. The temperature is only measured at the probe's tip.
The penetration probe can be used for liquids and solid substances.
In addition, the Min. and Max. values can be selected in the display. The temperature unit can
be switched between °Celsius to °Fahrenheit. Alarm levels can be set for Hi and Lo values. An
audible alarm will sound as soon as these values are reached.
The thermometer must not be left in running microwave ovens or hot ovens, since this will
deform the plastic and thus damage the unit.
The housing and the sensor are splash-proof and are thus suitable for use in humid environ-
ments. The device can be washed, in case of heavy soiling.
The thermometer is battery-operated and it requires two micro batteries (AAA). To improve
readability, the device can be placed on the folding stand. The sensor cable can be stored under
the folding stand, in order to save space.
Do not use in explosive areas or on persons or animals.
Any other use than described above is not permitted, it could cause damage to the product and
personal injury. No part of the product may be modified or rebuilt!
The safety instructions are to be observed without fail!
