3-d Polarity of high voltage terminals
The detector is correctly functioning when the polarity of
terminals is respected as follow:
•
HV+ connected to HT1+ and HT2+ with 2
different cables from 2 different capacitors bank
connections
•
HV- connected to HT1- and HT2- with 2
different cables from 2 different capacitors bank
connections
HV+ = positive High Voltage
HV- = negative High Voltage
If there is an inversion between HTx+ and HTx-, then
the LED is not functioning (no lightning possible).
However the detector is not damaged, as there is an
internal protection against electrical polarity inversions.
HTx can be HT1 or HT2
3-e Operation in alternative voltage
Attention, in alternative voltage, only the positive halfs-
wave of the sinusoidal voltage allow to the detector the
flashing of the LED.
According to the type of your application and at the
system power off, it may be that the detector does not
provide its function completely.

3-d Polarité des bornes hautes tensions
Le détecteur fonctionne correctement quand la polarité
des bornes est respectée comme suit:
•
HV+ connecté à HT1+ et HT2+ avec 2 câbles
différents venant de 2 points de raccordements
différents du banc de condensateurs
•
HV- connecté à HT1- et HT2- avec 2 câbles
différents venant de 2 points de raccordements
différents du banc de condensateurs
HV+ = haute tension positive
HT- = haute tension négative
S'il y a une inversion entre HTx+ et HTx-, alors la LED
ne fonctionne pas (aucune indication possible). Toutefois
le détecteur n'est pas endommagé, car il y a une
protection interne contre les inversions de polarité
électriques.
HTx peut être HT1 ou HT2
3-e Fonctionnement en tension alternative
Attention, en tension alternative, seules les alternances
positives de la tension sinusoïdale permettent au
détecteur le déclenchement de la DEL.
Suivant le type de votre application et lors de la mise
hors tension du système, il se peut que le détecteur
s'assure pas complètement sa fonction.
