8. After use, switch the device off by pushing and holding down
the On/Off switch (3) until the temperature indicator on the
display goes out and pull the mains plug out of the socket.
9. Let the device cool off completely and clean it as described
in chapter "Care and storage".

ATTENTION!
• After use, always turn the device off and pull the mains plug
out of the socket. Keep the device, mains cord and mains
plug away from water or other liquids.
• Do not wind the cable around the device!
• Caution! Burn hazard! Only set the device down on heat
resistant bases.
• Never rinse the device off with water and never immerse it
in water or other liquids.
• Clean the ceramic elements regularly.
• Do not use any abrasive or scouring cleaners or cleaning
pads to clean the device. They could damage the surface.
1. Remove any hair, lint or dust from the device.
2. Use a damp cloth to clean the device regularly. Then dry the
device and the ceramic elements thoroughly.
3. Press the handle surfaces together and lock the handle for
storage by pushing the handle lock towards the closed lock
symbol.
4. Store the device in a dry, frost-free location, not exposed to
sunshine that is out of the reach of children and animals.
