handle surface and keep it away from your face, particularly
your eyes. Maintain a distance of at least 2-3 cm to your scalp!
• Always allow the device to cool off completely before stowing it.
Please observe the following notes for best results:
• Only use the device on dry, combed hair.
• The fi ner the hair strands you use, the better the result.
• For fi ne, smooth or brittle hair, we recommend using
a low temperature setting (120 – 160 °C); for normal,
thick or wavy hair, we recommend using a higher
temperature setting (160 – 200 °C). If necessary, use
heat-protection spray to protect your hair from the heat.
1. Connect the device to a properly installed socket that corre-
sponds to the device's technical data.
2. Open the handle lock (2) by pushing the latch towards the
arrow of the opened lock symbol.
3. Switch the device on by pushing and holding down the On/
Off switch (3). The temperature will blink on the temperature
display (1).
4. Use the temperature selector buttons - and + (4+5) to set
the temperature. Push the + button several times to increase
the temperature or the - button to decrease the temperature.
Once the set temperature has been reached, the indicator
will stop blinking. You can now start using the device.
5. Separate an approx. 2 – 3 cm wide strand of hair and clamp
it between the ceramic elements at the hair base by using
the handle surfaces to push the plates together. Keep the
device at least 2 – 3 cm away from your scalp!
6. Keep the ceramic elements pressed together and slowly
pull the device from the base of your hair to the tips of your
hair. Make sure that you never pause on any one part of
your hair for too long as this could damage your hair!
7. Repeat the process until you have achieved the desired result.
