• Unpack all parts and make sure that the scope of delivery is
complete (see chapter "Device overview and scope of deliv-
ery") and check for any damages from transport. If applica-
ble, remove any stickers and foils. If the device is damaged,
do not use it (!), instead contact customer service.
• Wipe off the ceramic elements with a damp cloth and dry
the ceramic plates thoroughly afterwards.

ATTENTION!
• The device has an automatic switch-off function. If the de-
vice is activated continuously for 45 minutes, it will auto-
matically switch off.
If you would like to continue using the device after it has
automatically deactivated, hold the On/Off switch (3) until a
temperature appears on the temperature display (1) again and use
the temperature selector buttons (4+5) to adjust the temperature.

Operation

ATTENTION!
• Check the device for damages prior to start-up. The device
may not be used if it, the mains cord or plug exhibit visible
damages. Do not use the device if it malfunctions, has fallen
down or in water.
• Only use the device on clean, dry, combed hair!
• Keep the device away from water and other liquids!
• Only set the device down on heat-resistant bases.
• During use, the ceramic elements reach temperatures of 120-
200 °C. They pose a burn hazard. Only hold the device by the
