RULES AND PRECAUTIONS FOR USE

17) Before putting the appliance into operation, check there is no visible damage to the glass,
to the feeding cable , formation of bubbles inside or on the edges of the glass ,
modification to the structure and to its parts. Do not put damaged appliances into
operation, it could put your safety at risk.
18) During operation Absolutely avoid covering the appliance with cloths, covers, clothing,
towels or insulating material, as these cause excessive overheating of the glass. In
extreme cases this can cause permanent interruption of the circuit or breakage of the
glass.
19) Should the glass be broken or cracked, disconnect from the electricity supply immediately
20) Do not apply containers of water to the appliance, which in accidental cases can cause
electric leakages.
21) Do not clean the appliance with jets of water.
22) Make sure no water remains on the side of the appliance and do not operate on it when
you are wet ( hands, feet, or totally ).This could be a risk for your safety.
23) Before starting cleaning operations switch off the appliance and wait until it is Cold.
24) When cleaning , Do not use powder abrasives or substances that can scratch and make
the surface of the glass opaque irreparably.
25) When cleaning , Do not use aggressive solvents that can damage the parts made of
plastic and the joints fixing together the two pieces of glass that make up the appliance.
26) Do not bring tools or metal objects into contact with the appliance, these can scratch the
surface of the glass irreparably
27) Do not expose the appliance to knocks and sources of excess heat which could damage
it
28) To warm clothing use the appropriate handle. However, make sure there are a few
centimetres between the glass and the clothing.
29) Do not use the handle to support weights of more than 1 Kg.
30) Do not allow children or incompetent people to use the appliance without the necessary
surveillance.
31) To disconnect the appliance from the power supply, do not pull the cable, but the plug.
In the longrun the cable could get damaged.
32) The length of the appliance cable must be uncoiled and it is advisable NOT to use any
type of socket adaptors.

APPLIANCE PROTECTION

Inside the connection box there is a thermal protection via thermo fuse which intervenes at a
temperature of 104°C ,interrupting the feeding cycle.
This protection can not be put back into operation, therefore, once it has intervened, the box and the
connection cable must be replaced. This operation must be carried out by specialized personnel.

HANDLING AND PACKAGING RULES

Being of glass, the appliance must be handled with care, to avoid breakages, abrasions, scratches
or chips. Always place the appliance on a clean base made of wood or carton.
In addition, since it is made up of an electric circuit it must be protected from water and excess
humidity.
Knocks and falls onto the floor must be avoided as well as tears and tensions of the connection and
of the electric feeding cable that are too strong.
When transporting or stocking always keep in a suitable package.
