STORAGE
- After ironing, unplug the iron. Let the iron cool down.
- Wind the mains lead around the heel and attach it with the mains lead clip. Store the iron on its heel or horizontally.
MAINTENANCE
Substances contained in fabrics such as cleaning product residues and thread particles may eventually stain the
iron soleplate. So if necessary, after ironing rub the plate while it is still warm using a good quality cloth (one which
does not leave any traces of fluff) or clean it more thoroughly with an iron-cleaning stick.
Do not use scouring powders, alkalines (as used with ovens), abrasives or steel wool.
Note :
Please make sure that the soleplate is kept clean at all times to maintain the iron's gliding capability.
The integrated steam generator does not require any particular care. Do not attempt to remove scale from your iron
using descaling products of any type. If a problem arises, consult your approved after-sales service centre.
