REFILLING DURING IRONING
Fill the iron only when there is no more steam coming out of the steam vents. The water tank is empty when the steam
trigger is pressed AND the steam generator indicator light remains off.
CAUTION:
Residual steam can escape from the filling aperture when the filling cap is opened.

THERMOSTAT ADJUSTMENT

Adjust the thermostat of the iron according to the type of
ironing and fabric.
To use steam, adjust the thermostat of the iron within the
steam range.
FRONT JET OF STEAM
Your iron is equipped with an adjustable steam jet which
can be used to dampen your laundry sufficiently to help
eliminate creases without leaving water stains that may
take longer to dry.
Set the position of the steam jet:

downwards: the steam will be projected at the tip of the iron soleplate (best for light creases)

upwards: the steam will be projected 3 cm from the tip of the iron soleplate (best for heavy creases).

VERTICAL IRONING

Your iron can also be used vertically to smooth out clothes on hangers, curtains, etc. Move the iron from bottom to top,
keeping the steam button pressed. For best results, keep the material to be steamed tight. The results may vary
according to the type of fabric. Alternatively you may wish to use the jet of steam for vertical ironing.
TIPS
Release the steam trigger while handling your laundry or when the iron is not in use. This will enable you to iron for
longer periods without refilling.
CAUTION: Some steam may escape from the iron after the steam trigger has been released.
PRECAUTIONS
If you use a wooden ironing board or table to iron on, remember to protect it from damp (water condensation) by
covering it with an oilcloth for example.
We recommend that you iron articles in the order indicated on the iron's thermostat control so that the temperature
gradually increases.

DRY IRONING

Your iron can be used for dry ironing. Do not press the steam button in this case.
Press and hold the steam jet button as long as necessary. The steam jet is
