Announcement Standby
Reception
Announcement Standby Reception allows the
unit to switch temporarily to your favorite service
(announcement type).
Announcement Standby Reception Indicator
To activate, display <AV Menu>
screen, press [Mode], then press [On]
for <Announce Standby>. (
The unit will temporarily switch to your
favorite service from any source other
than FM/AM.
Not yet activated. Tune in to another
service providing the related signals.
To deactivate, press [Off] for
<Announce Standby>. (

Tracing the same
programme—Alternative
Frequency Reception (DAB
AF)
• While receiving a DAB service:
When driving in an area where a service cannot
be received, this unit automatically tunes in to
another ensemble or FM Radio Data System station
broadcasting the same programme.
• While receiving an FM Radio Data System
station:
When driving in an area where a DAB service is
broadcasting the same programme as the FM Radio
Data System station, this unit automatically tunes in
to the DAB service.
When shipped from the factory, Alternative Frequency
Reception is activated.
To deactivate the Alternative Frequency
Reception, select <Off> for <DAB AF>. (
