tion! – Check that the zone is clear of other wireless devices transmitting on the same
frequency, such as alarms, wireless headsets, etc.: they can further reduce the range
or even block the transmissions of the device to the motor. ■ Ensure that the surfaces
selected for installation are solid and guarantee a stable fixture. ■ Make sure that the
sensor is protected against accidental impact.

4 - PRODUCT INSTALLATION

Caution! – Before installing the sensor, make sure that the sensor cannot be damaged
or crushed when the awning enters the UPPER limit switch at the end of the closing
manoeuvre.
■ 01. Open the sensor by undoing the screw on the upper shell (fig. 1). ■ 02. Impor-
tant – Nemo Vibe must be installed on the outer face of the front bar of the awning (fig.
2); the sensor can also be installed on the inner face of the same bar, as long as it does
not hinder total closing of the awning. • The sensor must be positioned near the right-
hand or left-hand corner of the front bar of the awning (fig. 2). ■ 03. Secure the upper
shell of the sensor (the one with the electronics) on the bar of the awning, using a strip
of double-sided tape, so that it can easily be moved during programming, if it is neces-
sary to improve radio communication with the motor. ■ 04. Perform sensor memorisa-
tion (section 5) and system calibration (section 6). ■ 05. Mark the position of the sensor
on the bar of the awning; then remove the sensor and the strip of double-sided tape. ■
06. Remove the seal from the lower base of the sensor; • secure this base in the posi-
tion marked on the bar (fig. 3, 4, 5, 6). Caution! – Final securing of the sensor requires
drilling the front bar of the awning. ■ 07. Finally, replace the seal on the base, place the
upper shell of the sensor on top and secure it with the screw provided.
5 - MEMORIZING THE SENSOR IN THE MOTOR RECEIVER
As for any other transmitter, the wind sensor's radio code must be memorized in the
receiver of the motor it controls, so that the sensor can send wireless commands. To
memorise the sensor follow the "Mode I" procedure described in the manual of the tu-
bular motor or associated receiver. Alternatively the following memorisation procedure
can be used.
• Procedure for memorising additional transmitters using an already
memorised transmitter (fig. 8)
Caution – This procedure may only be used if one or more radio codes have already
been memorized in the tubular motor.
■ 01. Hold down for 10 seconds button "P" (fig. 7) of the new sensor. ■ 02. Press the
button of a previously memorized transmitter 3 times (slowly). ■ 03. Press the again the
button "P" of the sensor to be memorized and check that the motor emits 3 signals(*)
(= memorization successful). Note – If the memory is full, the motor emits 6 signals(*),
notifying the user that memorisation of the new sensor is not possible.
(*) – The signals may be "beeps" or small movements (depending on the motor model).
