Die Inspirationsbemühung des Patien-
ten erzeugt einen negativen Druck, der
die Inspiration und die Medikamenten-
verneblung startet.
Inhalog appliziert den Medikamentenne-
bel mit dem eingestellten Inspirations-
flow in die Lunge.
Wenn der max. Inspirationsdruck Pinsp.
erreicht ist, schaltet das Gerät auf Exspi-
ration um, die Medikamentenverneb-
lung wird unterbrochen, der Patient
atmet aus – gegebenenfalls gegen
einen eingestellten Widerstand, der die
Exspiration verlängert.
Die Inspiration kann auch manuell
gestartet werden:
1 Drehknopf »Trigger« kurz ziehen.
2 Der Atemwegsdruck (P
nuierlich an der Bandanzeige ange-
zeigt.
3 Die vom Gerät gemessene Atemfre-
quenz des Patienten f spont. bpm
(breath per minute) erscheint nume-
risch rechts in der Bandanzeige.
4 Die Therapiezeit (Symbol: U,
Minuten) erscheint numerisch links in
der Bandanzeige.
Patienten mit Trachealkanüle und
kurzem Faltenschlauch
Der Medikamentenvernebler muss
der tiefste Punkt im Schlauchsystem
sein, damit kein Kondensat zum
Patienten gelangt.
Die Verneblerleistung verringert sich
um 1/3.
Die Therapie nur im Beisein und
unter ständiger Aufsicht einer Pflege-
kraft durchführen.

Operation
The patient's attempts to inhale generate
a negative pressure which starts inspira-
tion and medicament nebulization.
Inhalog applies the aerosol medication
to the lungs with the inspiratory flow set.
When the max. inspiratory pressure
Pinsp. is reached, the apparatus swit-
ches over to expiration, medicament
nebulization is interrupted and the pati-
ent exhales – possibly against a preset
resistance to prolong exhalation.
Inspiration can also be started manually:
