Jam Detection - Oce VARIOPRINT 5000 Stacker Manuel Opérateur

The stacker is equipped with paper path sensors and associated controls that detect jam
conditions. When a jam is detected, the stacker is stopped to prevent any damage to the
machine. The attention light (1) will flash, requiring immediate operator attention and the jam
reason is displayed on a mimic of the paper path, located on the upper part of the keyboard,
only accessible when top cover is open.
1. Attention light
Located on the upper cover.
The attention light can have three states:
- Off when everything is OK
- Steady on when situation requires operator intervention, but is not a faul condition.
Example: full condition
- Flashing on when fault condition requires the operator intervention.
Example: jam, or any error condition.
