Select a suitable impression tray according to the impression technique. Apply trayloc® A to optimize silicone adhesion.
manual metering anD miXing
putty – The metering is carried out at a mixing ratio of 1:1 with the enclosed metering spoons.
Detaseal® function – dispense from the dosing syringes. Maintain the 1:1 dosing by using equal strand lengths of base and
catalyst. Mixing is carried out manually by kneading until a homogeneous mixture or uniform color, respectively, is reached.
Make sure that only base and catalyst components from the same batch number are used. Immediately close again after
use. Do not swap lids, closures or metering spoons.
Dynamic miXers 5:1 – cartriDges Putty, heaVy, mono
Jumbopack – Unlock and pull off the tamper-proof closure on the cartridge by lifting the locking lever (Fig. 1). Insert the
cartridge into the metering unit. Start the device and spread the material until it is being evenly emitted. Discard the first
inhomogeneous mass, then attach the dynamic mixer (yellow). Fixate the mixer by attaching and turning the yellow rotating
ring to the right (Fig. 2).
Jumbo plus – Before first use, turn the blue plug to the left and pull it out (Fig. 3). Check the outlet openings. Then screw on
the dynamic mixer (blue) (Fig. 4). Make sure that the positioning aid faces upward. Discard the first material that comes out,
approx. 3 cm. Do not fill the tray before the mixture is homogeneous. Leave the filled mixer as a closure on the cartridge until
the next application. Before the next application, remove the used mixer and check the outlet openings of the cartridge for
clogging; then attach a new mixer. In order to ensure reliable application, we recommend using exclusively the matching
dynamic mixers by DETAX. Please read and understand the notes by the manufacturer of the mixer.
