For delicate dishes, use a special programme (lower washing temperature) and a

Concerning the compatibility of items:

Always make sure that the dishes you load into the appliance are dishwasher

safe.
Some materials are not dishwasher safe. In this case, wash the utensils by hand

Porcelain,
Crystal,
Non-heat resistant plastic,
Copper,
Pewterware,
Hand-made items,
Old cutlery for which the blade and
handle are assembled by gluing,
Items made of synthetic fibres.
Silver cutlery tends to blacken if mixed with stainless steel cutlery. Place these in

the cutlery basket, separated from the others.
Strongly coloured substances, such as ketchup, for example, can temporarily leave
•
traces at the bottom of the main compartment. These disappear in the next wash.
