5 Acceptance and transport
5 Acceptance and transport
Observe the safety instructions in Chapter 2!
5.1 Accepting the machine
The machine is delivered in a complete and pack
aged condition from the manufacturer.
1.
Unpack the machine and check the enclosed
delivery slip to make sure all parts have been
delivered.
2.
Check whether any items have been damaged
in transit.
3.
In case of damage, contact the transport com
pany immediately!
4.
Report any problems to the manufacturer imme
diately!
Complaints at a later date cannot be acknowl
edged!
5.2 Transporting the machine
The machine may only be transported if it has
been switched off and the ETX tool holder discs
are at a standstill!
Do not lift any additional loads together with the
machine!
During transport, the guide handle [1, Fig. A]
should always be locked in position with the
clamping lever [3, Fig. A/D].
Risk of injury from heavy loads!
During transport, the specified limit values for lift
ing and carrying must be observed!
Use devices for lashing and transporting the unit
that have been rated to handle its full weight and
dimensions.
Observe weight data on packaging or in the ac
companying documentation!
Lashing gear may only be attached to the end
stop rings [10, Fig. A/J] !
Wear safety shoes!
Wear safety gloves!

Suspended loads can fall or tip over, causing
serious injuries!
Raising and lowering the load must be per
formed by two persons!
Lift the load only as high as necessary!
Do not stand under suspended loads!
Prevent the load from swinging back and forth!
Keep sufficient safety distance.
Never walk or reach beneath the load while it is be
ing lowered.
Proceed with the greatest care and caution!
Always secure the machine according to regula
tions during lifting or transport by a vehicle or suit
able devices and strap down with tension belts.
For longer periods in transport or in storage, the
machine needs to be covered to protect it
against soiling.
The machine can be separated into 2 parts for trans
port and fastened to pallets to protect it against dam
age. Relocation over short distances is possible on
the transport wheels.

Decommission the machine (! Chapter 4.6)
2.
Disconnect the connection to the dust extraction
[25, Fig. G].
3.
Fasten all loose parts.
4.
Either:
Transport over short distances
a.
Tilt the machine (! Chapter 4.1).
b.
Move the machine to the respective loca
tion with the transport wheels [11, Fig. A]
and deposit.
or
Crane transport of the mounted machine
a.
Fasten all loose parts.
b.
Fasten suitable lashing gear (belts, ropes, or
chains) to the endstop rings [10, Fig. A/J].
c.
Raise the machine with a suitable lifting
device. Transport to the corresponding
location and set down.
or
Transport of the dismantled machine
a.
Disconnect the plug connection [24, Fig. F]
and the water connection [26, Fig. G].
