INTENDED USE
This product is designed to charge batteries in mobile devices (e.g. smartphones) and portable batteries.
The charging current generated by the solar panel can be increased by connecting multiple chargers
together. The product has two indicator lights that light up during operation.
The product must not come into contact with moisture, e.g. in a bathroom, or with rain and other similar
liquids.
For safety and approval purposes (CE), you must not rebuild and/or modify this product. If you use
the product for purposes other than those described above, the product may be damaged. In addition,
improper use can cause hazards such as short circuiting, fire, electric shock etc. Read the instructions
carefully and keep them. Make this product available to third parties only together with its operating
instructions.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Read the operating instructions carefully and especially observe the safety information.
If you do not follow the safety instructions and information on proper handling in this
manual, we assume no liability for any resulting personal injury or damage to property.
Such cases will invalidate the warranty/guarantee.
a) Persons / Product
• The device is not a toy. Keep it out of the reach of children and pets.
• Do not leave packaging material lying around carelessly. These may become dangerous
playing material for children.
• Protect the product from extreme temperatures, strong jolts, high humidity, moisture,
flammable gases, vapours and solvents.
• Do not place the product under any mechanical stress.
• If it is no longer possible to operate the product safely, take it out of operation and protect it
from any accidental use. Safe operation can no longer be guaranteed if the product:
- is visibly damaged,
- is no longer working properly,
- has been stored for extended periods in poor ambient conditions or
- has been subjected to any serious transport-related stresses.
• Please handle the product carefully. Jolts, impacts or a fall even from a low height can
damage the product.
• Also observe the safety and operating instructions of any other devices which are connected
to the product.
• Never use the product immediately after it has been brought from a cold room into a warm
one. The condensation generated could destroy the product. Allow the product to reach room
temperature before connecting it to the power supply and putting it to use. This may take
several hours.
• Make sure that the cable is not pinched, kinked or damaged by sharp edges.
• Never leave the product unattended during use.
• The device housing warms up during operation. Ensure that there is sufficient ventilation. The
device housing must not be covered!
b) Miscellaneous
• Consult an expert when in doubt about operation, safety or connection of the device.
• Maintenance, modifications and repairs are to be performed exclusively by an expert or at a
qualified shop.

OPERATION
Ensure that the connection specifications for your mobile device or rechargeable battery
comply with the connection data for the product (see technical data).
Always read the operating instructions for your mobile device or rechargeable battery.
Do not short-circuit the USB ports.
The USB cable is not designed for data transfer.
a) Charging your mobile device or rechargeable battery with solar energy
• Connect the low voltage socket on the micro USB cable to the micro USB adapter.
• Connect the micro USB connector on the micro USB cable to the USB port on the mobile device or
battery that you wish to charge.
• Connect the other end of the micro USB cable to the OUT micro USB port (2) on the solar charger.
• Place the product in a place where there is sufficient light (ideally in the sun) with the solar cells (6 & 7)
open to begin charging.
• The indicator lights (3 & 4) light up when the solar charger is in operation.
During operation, place the product on a flat, fireproof and dry surface.
b) Increasing the charging current
• You can connect multiple solar chargers to increase the charging current.
• Use the micro USB cable provided to connect the OUT output (2) on the solar charger to the IN USB
port (1) on another solar charger.
• Connect the available OUT output on the second charger to your mobile device with another micro USB
cable. The connected mobile device or battery receive the combined current of both solar chargers.
MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
Never use aggressive detergents, rubbing alcohol or other chemical solutions, as these
could damage the housing or even impair the functioning of the product.
• Disconnect any connected cables and mobile devices from the product before cleaning.
• Do not immerse the product in water.
• Under no circumstances should you service any of the components in the interior of the product,
therefore never open/dismantle it.
• A dry, soft and clean cloth is sufficient for cleaning. Do not press too hard on the housing as this can lead
to scratch marks.
• Dust can be easily removed using a soft and clean long-haired brush.
DISPOSAL
Electronic devices are recyclable waste and must not be disposed of in the household waste.
At the end of its service life, dispose of the product according to the relevant statutory
regulations.
You thus fulfil your statutory obligations and contribute to the protection of the environment.
