that there is a negative weight on the scale. Press ZERO to clear the tare value and reset
the scale.
If O-load is displayed, the capacity of the scale has been exceeded.

Diaper weighing procedure

Use the following procedure to determine urine output using diaper weight. When
displaying weights between 10 grams to 1 kilogram, the scale automatically converts to
a 1-gram (0.001 kilogram) resolution.
Make sure that the scale is located in still air, and away from breezes caused by fans or
HVAC systems.
1. Press ON to turn on the scale.
2. (Optional) Press ZERO to zero the scale.
3. Place a new, dry diaper of the identical size and brand as the diaper to be weighed
on the weighing platform, and make sure that the scale is in kilograms mode.
Three beeps sound and the weight is displayed.
Do not touch the infant while the weight measurement is in
process.
The beeper option is set to OFF by default. These beeps do
not occur unless beeper option has been enabled in the
setup menu. See the Custom setup section to enable the
beeper option.
WARNING Patient injury risk. Make sure the scale is set in
the proper measurement units for your facility. Make sure
you record the measurement units as they are displayed.
If you purchased the kilogram-only option, the scale displays
Lb OFF when LB/KG is pressed.
A measurement is stored in the scale until a new weight is
taken and zeroes out.
