Setup and installation

Responsibility

Technical data [see } Chapter 3.2]
Technical modifications to the appliance only in agree-
ment and after approval of the manufacturer.
Do not cover the temperature display, safety notes, or
the rating plate [see } Chapter 3.2.1].
WARNING
Appliance tipping hazard.
Persons may become trapped.
§ Do not climb onto or into the appliance.
§ Read the instructions on the packaging.
§ In the event of questions, contact the
maintenance service
[see } Chapter 11.2.5].
Damage to the refrigerant circuit.
Flammable refrigerant can escape and cause
an explosive gas/air mixture. Fire hazard.
§ Do not obstruct the ventilation openings in
the appliance housing. Use only original
accessory parts.
§ Only install the appliance in well-ventilated
rooms.
§ If the appliance is installed in cellars, you
must ensure that there is sufficient ventila-
tion.
§ Ducts and wall bushings must be sealed
under and behind the unit to protect
against fire.
§ The operator must not drill into the appli-
ance or carry out any other work on it.
§ Do not crush or bend pipes.
CAUTION
Heavy appliance parts.
Hands may become trapped.
§ Great care should be afforded to fingers
and hands.
§ Wear protective gloves.
Material breakage.
Falling hazard. Impact hazard due to falling
parts/goods. Cuts.
§ Do not climb onto or into the appliance.

NOTICE
Material and property damage in the event of
incorrect positioning.
§ Place the appliance in a stable operating position
(horizontal alignment).
§ Only set up the appliance on the pre-installed ad-
justable feet. Adjust the feet to 90 mm.
§ Do not expose the appliance to direct heat radi-
ation at the place of installation, e.g.:
- Sunlight
- Artificial external light sources
§ Do not expose the appliance to direct air condition-
ing or ventilation at the place of installation.
§ Do not install the appliance outdoors.
Material and property damage due to accumu-
lation of warm exhaust air (heat accumula-
tion).
§ The exhaust air must escape freely at the top of
the appliance.
§ Superstructures or false ceilings directly on the up-
per edge of the appliance may only be installed in
consultation with the manufacturer.
Setting up the appliance
a) Transport the appliance to the setup site.
Use an industrial truck if necessary.
The appliance can be driven under with an industrial
truck.
b) Level the unit by turning the adjustable feet.

Install display shelves
LED bars are pre-installed on display shelves.
CAUTION
Improper installation of the display
shelves.
Risk of injury due to falling of the display
shelves holding goods.
§ The brackets for display shelves must
snap completely into the openings
provided when being attached.
Install display shelves with LED bars
a) Attach the brackets for the display shelves to the
openings in the attachment rails.
