Fitting the connecting cables

3.1 Preparing the cables

Brief instructions are supplied with the QUICKON set (order no.
175485). Please follow the instructions on preparing the cables.
You can then be sure that you have created a reliable contact.

3.2 Connecting the cables

After preparing the cables proceed as follows:
1. Connect the prepared cables to the appropriate connections
of the valve terminal (Bus IN; Bus OUT; 24 V).
2. Turn the cable until the coded noses fit into the grooves. The
codes ensure the correct polarity.
3. Tighten the union nuts. The ends of the cores will then be
pressed into the piercing device and the insulation will be
cut. Reliable electrical contact will then be made.
